One of the books that left a deep impression on me was “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” by John Boyne. The character Schmuel lives “on the other side” of the fence, in a concentration camp as he forges a friendship with the story’s other main character, Bruno. I’d wanted to do a picture like that for the longest time so when i read about this blogger challenge, I started putting ideas for a picture.
