SL is a place for us to allow creatives to soar, be with friends we’ve made, bridge geographical boundaries and well.. have FUN.. At the end of the day, when we turn off the computers, nothing matters. All that social climbing, clawing for fame and backstabbing has NO bearing on RL. So WHY do we allow people to make us feel terrible about ourselves, to spoil our mood, to make us feel mad? I noticed A LOT of angry people these few weeks, being unhappy with someone, some event… and spouting unkind stuff. If all one does is bitch and whine about stuff in SL, or people for that matter, then I’d advise NOT having a SL cos having two miserable lives… there’s really no point. Put down all that pseudo ambition and enjoy what SL has to offer.
I’ve been dragged into the spotlight lately on a certain website, thanks to those who commented and defended me. Honestly, don’t bother replying to that person saying mean things cos i’m not bothered by it. Like i said, we cannot expect everyone to like us, and people will always have unkind things to say about someone, regardless of whether it’s true. At least, the one good thing that came out of this pot of shit is that i have polarity.
Again, I do not see any reason why i should continue defending myself on that website, as long as the designers are happy with me, and knowing that i have friends who have my back, and my clear conscience. If i have a comment, i say it on my blog, slap my name on it, and own it. I do not hide behind an anonymous username.
