After witnessing the brilliance of Lady Gaga’s latest “Born This Way Ball” today, some of the things she said struck a chord with me. Everyone deserves their own spotlight, to do the things they are good at, to shine. Anyone who stands in the way of our spotlight should be pushed aside, because, in her own words, “i don’t give a fuck, do you give a fuck?”. We are in SL for fun, to fuel our creativities (or lack thereof) and to do something we are passionate about, anyone who stands in the way of us fulfilling these things which we are passionate about should be shut out because we are here for ourselves, and the few people we call friends, people who harbor no hidden agenda. Even if the day comes when no one reads our blog or likes our pics, it doesn’t matter, because all these things we are doing, it is not to get the approval of others, it is simply, for us to discover and know ourselves better.
