I’ve been working non-stop for the past 2 months, projects after projects, endorsements after endorsements, and runway after runway.

I took a day off, rescheduled all my appointments, and had so much fun in SL – golfing with Eve and Tarah; Car racing with Evey, Meimei and Tarah; Boating and volleyball with Meimei. Now, sitting at my new residence with Jean and Booba, my pet tiger, I have this urge to stop modeling, to just live and enjoy my time in SL doing nothing except exploring and having fun.

I guess the word badly needed here is balance because i really LOVE what i’m doing now in SL, and i don’t want to give it all up despite being overwhelmed at times.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learnt is to enjoy the process, and not focus on winning, or achieving success because that would cloud the joy and fun along the way. Okay, I’m rambling… back to chatting with Jeannie.

It’s been awhile since i penned something, January has been a continuation of December’s craziness, if not crazier. With the launch of L’HOMME #1 (Preview) and the many positive feedback and suggestions given, I have launched into the first full issue (issue#2) with more confidence and fuller spreads

I’ve also started doing what I liked and used to do in RL, to make my visions into Ads and magazine spreads, which I could not have done without my awesome team. <3 Submissions for L’HOMME #2 has already closed and we would start on the layout very soon, once I am done with the many tasks at hand.

On a more personal level, i absolutely adore the people in my life now, and am excited for the coming projects we’d be embarking on together.

Now if you’d excuse me, I have a flight to catch.

We first met at an agency event, I was only a photographer then, she was a new graduate. I became her photographer, and she became my muse and the rest is on flickr history. Since that first photoshoot we did, Mei became my family, my sister, and it has never wavered once over the past year.

We have had our highs and lows over the past one year, in RL and SL but Meimei has always been there for me, like i try my bestest to be there for her. She is one of my pillars of support in both RL and SL and I am thankful for how we pick each other up over the periods of unhappiness over the year.

Not all is sad and dull, we share many crazy happy times as well, and our chats on skype never fail to leave me with a tummy ache from laughing. I’ve repeated this too many times, but I believe the people in my SL define me more than the said “achievements”, Mei is definitely one of them.

This month, marks a milestone in our S-lives as it’s been a year since i have known Meimei. Cheers to many more good months/years ahead.
